Do you want to become a consultant?
Here's your chance to work on actual business problems with real companies. You'll join a small team of 4-6 students for 8 weeks, putting in about 6 hours per week to solve challenges that matter.
Every semester, we get new projects from companies with real problems to solve. We put together teams based on who you are, what you're curious about, and what skills you bring.
You won't be figuring this out alone. Industry professionals and experienced team members will guide you through feedback sessions and workshops. You'll pick up both the technical skills and the consulting mindset.

Here's what happens during your 8 weeks with us, from first meeting to final presentation
Fill out our application and we'll have a quick chat to get to know you. Then we'll figure out which team and project would be the best fit for what you want to learn and what you're good at.
Before project startsTime to meet everyone! You'll get introduced to your teammates, the client you're working for, and your mentor. We'll break down what problem you're solving, what you need to deliver, and when.
Week 1This is where the detective work begins. You'll dig into the data, look for interesting patterns, and start forming ideas about what's really going on. Work closely with your team to bounce ideas around and attend workshops to pick up new techniques.
Week 2-4Now you're building the actual solution. Create models, put together prototypes, and make something that works. Your mentors and client will give you feedback along the way, so expect to refine and improve as you go.
Week 5-7Showtime! Present what you've built to the client and explain how it solves their problem. You'll hand over all the documentation, code, and recommendations they need to either implement it themselves or take it to the next level.

By combining grower data with historical patterns, we are developing smarter forecasting tools that reduce manual guesswork and improve planning across the agricultural supply chain.
Get ready to revoluntionize Together with BeeOdiversity, Emergent is developing an AI-powered image recognition system to automate the monitoring of bee hotels. By replacing manual inspections with scalable computer vision, the project helps track biodiversity indicators more efficiently and supports environmental health initiatives.! We're diving deep into shared car data to uncover how people really move and how to make car sharing smarter, greener and way more efficient.

We're always looking for data science professionals and organizations who want to help shape the next generation of consultants. There are a few ways you can get involved. The biggest impact comes from mentoring a team throughout their entire 8 week project, guiding them from that first "what are we even looking at?" moment to their final presentation.
