Data Science Workshop Track, session I & II

Published by Joppe Geluykens on

For the second week in a row, Emergent Leuven welcomed over 25 students enthusiastic about embarking on their data science journey. By offering workshops on both a basic and advanced level, we saw a spillover between the two groups during the reception afterwards. Next week, they will continue their path together, when they will learn about data visualization.

This time, students with some experience in the area learned hard skills in data science from Andrea Gabriele, Technical Group Lead (Science for Process & Product Development) at Procter & Gamble. P&G is happy to join us in the organization of the first ever data science workshop track by students for students.

For the basic track, our own Louis Brouyaux put together a hands-on session, following up on the introductory workshop of last week.

Due to the high demand, we expanded the capacity of the next workshops. If you haven’t already registered for the next sessions, you can still do so through this link. You can join these next workshops even if you didn’t manage to attend the previous ones, since they won’t assume any prior knowledge.
